Our client’s apartment is set on a beautiful gated complex with 24hour security. There are 2 large shared swimming pools, one of the 2 pools is ideal for children with a very shallow area. Also, there is a children’s play ground situated right beside the safe swimming pool. As well as a bar/restaurant there are 2 tennis courts on the complex, so don’t forget to bring your rackets and get a few games in. Leading from the complex grounds you have direct access to the mile long golden strand. Looking up from the beach, you can see the hill placed town of San Lucido. If you walk along the beach you can reach the town in just under 10mins.
On clear days, at the head of the town, clear views of the Aeolian Islands are visible and from this standpoint it is easy to envision why so many people have made San Lucido their new home. One of the most impressive churches is the Sant'Annunziata, whose architecture is typically Romanesque-Gothic, with some interior consists frescoes doen in the Byzantine era.The church of San Giovanni, which sits next to San Lucido's dominating castle is another. Here, an alter from 1789 reveals wood-work carvings which predate 1600.
Calabria is located in the southwest of Italy (the toe of the Italian boot) It deserves with its unbelievably rich history and culture to be more known than it is today. The nature, people, history and the traditions are what make Calabria what it is.
