The three bays of Grotticelle ("little caves") are the most famous and most evocative bathing places of the municipality of Ricadi, in Calabria and they are linked with Capo Vaticano. Smaller, more remote and evocative beaches, such as Santa Maria can be reached from Grotticelle.
The Aeolian Islands consist of 7 small islands, which belong to the province of Messina. Daily boat trips to the islands Stromboli, Lipari, Vulcano and Panarea are offered from different locations such as Tropea and Capo Vaticano.
On a clear day and with no haze from the summer sunshine, you can enjoy magnificent views of Stromboli from the comfort of your very own spacious terrace in Sogno.
Evening time around 6pm is especially enjoyable, sit back and relax with a nice glass of locally made red wine and watch the sun set directly behind Stromboli (Don't forget to bring your camera).
