Just a short drive west of the apartment you can visit beautiful scenic towns such as Parghelia, Tropea, Capo Vaticano, Ricadi and Jopollo. All these towns offer different and charming aspects of real Italian living. Enjoy beautiful walks along meandering cobbled streets, discover fine wine and rich coffee in many of the quaint little cafe bars along the way.
While visiting all these amazing coastal towns you can absorb breath taking scenery along the way, each town offers beautiful mile long strands with turquoise clear water, a haven for sun worshipers and those who just like to relax on a sun lounger and enjoy a good book.
All the furniture in this apartment is locally sourced from an Italian company who pride themselves on quality furnishings. There is a very modern and contemporary style throughout the apartment consisting of a large dining table with comfortable seating for 6 guests, a very functional and movable chef's island which is ideal for food preparation.
The seating in the lounge consists of 2 stylish tub chairs and a large L-shaped sofa, which at night turns into a large double bed, allowing the apartment to sleep 6 people. All beds in the apartment have quality mattresses and extra bedside lighting is provided for those people who enjoy reading a good book before they go to sleep at night.
Also supplied at the apartment is a Bosch washing machine, the owners realise that many of their visitors may be travelling from a distance and that there may be weight restrictions on their luggage with the airline carrier that they are flying with. So don't worry, you can wash any laundry and it will be dry in a matter of minutes in the guaranteed Calabria sunshine.
Calabria is located in the southwest of Italy (the toe of the Italian boot) It deserves with its unbelievably rich history and culture to be more known than it is today. The nature, people, history and the traditions are what make Calabria what it is.
Lamezia Terme airport is 45km from the apartment. Direct flights from Stanstead with Ryanair.
Car hire is highly recommended. Zambrone railway station is approximately 5mins from the complex with low cost trains to Tropea, Capo Vaticano, Reggio, Pizzo, Lamezia and other mainline stations further afield.
